How We Tint Home and Office Windows: Clean, Precise and On Your Schedule

Tinting a house or an office is a different job from tinting a car. The glass is bigger and flatter, but the room around it matters just as much: hardwood floors, window sills, blinds, furniture, the people working at the desk next to the window. A clean install means a clear, bubble-free window and a room that looks exactly the way it did before we arrived.

Here is how we tint homes, offices and storefronts across the Upstate.

Short version: a free visit to measure your glass and see the sun, film matched to your windows and your goal, a protected room and a clean job site, a bubble-free install with tight edges — on your schedule, including nights and weekends for businesses.

1. A free site visit

We come to you, measure the glass, look at which windows take the sun and when, and listen to what you want to fix: heat, glare on screens, fading furniture, privacy or security. There is no obligation, and most quotes go out the same business day.

2. The right film for your glass

We bring samples and put them on your own windows, so you see the real shade and reflection from inside and outside before you decide. Then we recommend the exact film for your goal — and for your glass. Not every film suits every window, and checking the glass before recommending a film is part of doing the job right.

Film family What it does Good for
Solar control Up to 85% solar heat rejection and 99% UV blocked, in clear or subtle shades Hot rooms, high cooling bills, fading floors and furniture
Privacy & mirror You see out, people outside cannot see in during the day; strong glare reduction Street-facing rooms, offices, storefronts
Safety & security Holds broken glass together and slows forced entry, while staying invisible Storefronts, ground-floor offices, doors
Decorative & frosted Frosted, etched and gradient looks, custom-cut logos Bathrooms, conference rooms, glass partitions

3. Set up clean, protect the room

Tools and film are laid out in one spot, towels go down along the sills, and we clean up as we work. Window film goes on wet, so keeping water off your sills, floors and walls is part of the job, not an afterthought.

4. Glass and frame prep

Every window is cleaned and scraped, edge to edge, and the frame edges are wiped down. Paint flecks, dust and old residue on house windows are the most common cause of specks under film, so this step gets the most time.

5. Install, squeegee and edges

The film is cut to each pane, laid on wet glass and squeegeed out by hand until there is no water or air left behind. The edges are trimmed close and even along the frame and finished with a towel-wrapped card, so they sit down tight and the towel catches the last of the water.

6. Cure and warranty

Like car tint, window film needs time to dry out completely. A little haze or a few small water pockets in the first days are normal, and they disappear as the film cures. We tell you how long to wait before cleaning the glass and what to clean it with. Every job uses premium commercial and residential films, never bargain rolls, with a manufacturer-backed warranty and local support: if anything is ever off, we come back and make it right.

For businesses: we work around your hours

After-hours and weekend installs are available, so your office or store does not have to close while we work, and the space is left clean before your team or your customers come back in.

Quick answers

How much does it cost?

It depends on the film and on the amount and type of glass. We measure on-site and quote for free, usually the same business day.

Will tint make my rooms dark?

No. Modern solar films can be nearly clear and still reject a lot of heat and 99% of UV. Darker and mirror films are there if you want privacy.

Does window film help with energy bills?

Yes. Stopping solar heat at the glass means the AC works less, rooms stay more even, and summer cooling costs go down.

What areas do you serve?

Inman, Spartanburg, Greenville, Greer, Boiling Springs, Duncan, Landrum and the rest of the Upstate. For cars, see how we tint vehicles.

Want cooler rooms and less glare?

Tell us about your home or building. We will come measure, bring film samples and quote it on the spot — free and with no obligation.
