Questions
Before you book
How dark can I legally go in South Carolina?
South Carolina allows 27% VLT on the front side, rear side and rear windows, so a 35% film is comfortably legal and 20% is not. X Clear comes in a single 70% shade. We fit the legal shade by default and will tell you before installing anything darker.
How much heat does X Clear actually block?
At 70% VLT it rejects 94% of infrared and 56% of total solar energy. Infrared is the part of sunlight you feel as heat, which is why that number matters more than how dark the film looks.
Will it affect my phone, GPS or keyless entry?
No. X Clear is metal-free, so there is nothing in the film to interfere with cell signal, GPS, radio, toll tags, tyre-pressure sensors or keyless entry.
How long does it last and what is covered?
It carries a lifetime limited warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, covering bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and colour change. Installed at our shop at 191 Roper Rd, Inman SC 29349.
