Before you book
How dark can I legally go in South Carolina?
South Carolina allows 27% VLT on the front side, rear side and rear windows, so a 35% film is comfortably legal and 20% is not. Crystal comes in shades from 50% down to 5%. We fit the legal shade by default and will tell you before installing anything darker.
How much heat does Crystal actually block?
At 5% VLT it rejects 20% of infrared and 52% of total solar energy. Infrared is the part of sunlight you feel as heat, which is why that number matters more than how dark the film looks.
Will it affect my phone, GPS or keyless entry?
No. Crystal is metal-free, so there is nothing in the film to interfere with cell signal, GPS, radio, toll tags, tyre-pressure sensors or keyless entry.
How long does it last and what is covered?
